It all comes down to a molecule called hexanal. This compound of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen is found in many plants, but it's also…

Greenhouses are a great option for indoor growers looking to reduce operating costs and take advantage of the full spectrum of sunlight to grow their crops. For field farmers who are susceptible to crop damage and loss from unpredictable weather and unwanted pests, greenhouses provide protection and consistency. Purchasing an existing greenhouse can reduce the capital investment, provide grandfather rights to water, and minimize the regulatory burden associated with new construction. However, the existing greenhouse could also require a significant investment to make it work for your crop; to update the technology and upgrade utilities; and to even demolish or remove what is non-functional or obsolete. The following list of Dos and Don’ts will help set you and your team up for success as you evaluate and prepare to grow in an existing greenhouse.

Bayer AG has announced that the company confirms its adjusted outlook for 2020 and expects 2021 sales at approximately 2020 levels despite significant headwinds from the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in the agricultural market. Core earnings per share in 2021 are expected to be slightly below 2020 levels at constant exchange rates. To further advance Bayer in a market environment that continues to be challenging, its Board of Management has decided to introduce additional operational savings of more than 1.5 billion euros annually as of 2024, on top of annual earnings contributions of 2.6 billion euros as of 2022, which were announced in November 2018. The incremental cash flow from these efforts will mainly be allocated for investments in further innovation, profitable growth opportunities and debt reduction.
