Oasis Desktop v1013

Submitted by Andrew Simard on

IPM Manager

  1. First iteration of IPM Manager.  This is originally being created for PSF, but naturally like all modules some thought has to be given to how other customers (past, current and future) might make use of such a thing.

Configuration Manager

  1. Updated Configuration Manager to include button to show web page when a web page is provided in the parameter description.  At the moment, the thinking here is that these will redirect to a Canvas course page specific to the parameter.  Presumably the Canvas pages themselves can th

Security Manager

  1. Ongoing Security Manager overall.

Worker Manager

  1. The Payroll Export was enhanced with an option for displaying a more customized export for the purposes of running a "simulation payroll".  Also, the detailed export isn't as repetitive, showing the detail records once for each worker rather than duplicating them for each worker+earnings code.

  2. Fixed issue with application menus not being populated with list of open modules/reports.
  3. Fixed issue at login where retrieving current release information would hang due to moving 500 Foods website to HTTPS.  Internally updated OpenSSL dlls used in distribution.

Oasis Desktop v1007

Submitted by Andrew Simard on

General

  1. Application error notifications (exceptions) are now sent directly to Mantis, the tool 500 Foods uses to keep track of these kinds of issues.  Previously these were sent as emails.  EurekaLog handles the brunt of this kind of thing.
  2. The previous email mechanism is now setup as the fallback error notification system in case the Mantis website isn't working (http://www.500foods.com/bugs).  Also handled by EurekaLog.

Notifications Manager

  1. Added an 'Exceptions Tracker' tag to the Notification Manager.  This is intended to show application errors (exceptions) encountered by users in a format that other system administrators can use.  IE, to help show that if a particular error is encountered, whether it is recurring, how often, who is encountering it, and just how much trouble it is causing.  More with an eye to helping determine whether resources should be spent on addressing it.
  2. Fixed an error within the Notification Manager that was occurring when scheduled tas

Stock Quality Manager

  1. Updated Stock Quality Manager.  This has undergone a bit of an overhaul, bringing it into the theme that has been applied to other modules recently.
  2. Fixed some of the recent problems with the Stock Quality Manager regarding data entry and errors that come up when clicking on parts of the interface.  Hopefully much more useful now.

Oasis Desktop v1000

This marks the official 1,000th build/release of the Oasis Desktop (formerly known as Datamark) application!  Yes, it started at #0000 waaay back in the late 1990's when it was first created as a Crystal Reports front-end for Pelton Reforestation.  Crystal Reports is long gone.  And ironically so is Pelton Reforestation.  But Datamark lives on under its new name, Oasis Desktop.
