NOTE: This is an unusually large and far-reaching release primarily due to increasing the number of Allocation Reports.  This change precipitated a great many changes in other modules, which then led to even more changes, a cascading effect that has ended up with the change list as we have here.  Also, due to the length of time taken to complete this release, numerous other requests were implemented at the same time, but not released previously due to the interdependency of other changes.  Looking forward to returning to something more like the previous weekly or bi-weekly update cadence!

Main Menu

  1. Added Help icon at top-right.
  2. Added Reload Languages option to Help Menu.
  3. Added Reload Help Reference to Help Menu.
  4. Changed how Help functions are launched to use Configuration Parameter.
  5. Added Menu Analytics.
  6. Fixed obscure problem with Main Menu mousewheel scrolling.
  7. Added hints to Main Menu, included in search, editable in Module Manager.
  8. Added Network Connection Test to help menu.
  9. Added check that the Server Date/Time are close to the Client Date/Time at login.

Greenhouse Viewer

  1. More updates to the User Interface to fit the current grey scheme.
  2. Rearranged the main tabs to be grouped differently, more inline with the list of search criteria.
  3. Cleaned up search criteria tab (on the left) with new group labels, more options to choose from.
  4. Cleaned up the Period Selection section, now also matches the same section in the Repair Tool.
  5. Display and log query execution times for general Greenhouse Viewer views.
  6. Rearrange how Clear Values and Run Query buttons are displayed (overlaying critera on shorter screens).
  7. Allocation Reports: More Allocation Types now available.
  8. Allocation Reports: Removed the vertical lines from the report and instead added a \"Shading\" option to highlight columns.
  9. Allocation Reports: Setup as non-modal report.
  10. Allocation Reports: Fixed issue with the YTD flavour of the reports.
  11. Allocation Reports: Changed the update data mechanism to use a Configuration Parameter to get what it needs to launch the task.
  12. Allocation Reports: Launching while holding down Shift will load the queries into the Debug/SQL Tool.
  13. Allocation Reports: Fixed average subtotal - was leaving off the last row of data in the calculation.

Worker Manager

  1. Documents tab: Changed so that changing a Worker Number on a document is now possible.  Previously, it would always be set to the currently selected Worker.  
  2. Documents tab: Updated to validate the new Worker number and generate an error (and prevent the change) if a valid Worker number is not entered.
  3. Pay Scale tab: Fixed cosmetic error where a number was overlayed on one of the fields on the Utility Panel.
  4. Force e-mail addresses to be lower case.
  5. Minor adjustments to internal handling when new pay rate records are added.
  6. Set Minimum and Maximum dates for the various date fields (Birthdate, Hire, Terminated, etc.).  Not remotely restrictive, just intended to prevent simple data entry errors.
  7. Added Fingers column to the main Worker Manager view to indicate which fingers have been registered

Labour Manager

  1. UI improvements in the Utility Panel, removed slider control on right, adjusted minimum height of module.
  2. Finished the Skip Problems feature to ignore certain conditions, like excessive hours.
  3. Log more events related to repair and reprocess buttons, etc.

Activity Manager

  1. Force e-mail addresses to be lower case.

Period Manager

  1. Added Annotations.
  2. Updated menus.
  3. General UI cleanup.
  4. Added Notifications.
  5. Added Copy Stat Utility Function.

Repair Tool

  1. Updated User Interface to fit the current grey scheme.
  2. Added Help & Feedback button, related documentation.
  3. Updated button arrangement for selecting periods - now same as Greenhouse Viewer.
  4. Added function to run full repair on server for last week.
  5. Added function to run full repair on server for last two weeks.
  6. Added Teams as a selection option.
  7. Made each Repair item a separate section that can now be hidden if not applicable.
  8. Some work on changes to the repair functions themselves.
  9. Added more Allocation repair types, consolidated code for these repairs.
  10. Configured client localization for the main Repair items.
  11. Updated Feature Codes to reflect new Repair items.
  12. Added 'Quietly' button to run repair faster with fewer screen updates.

Sets Manager

  1. Updated User Interface to fit the current grey scheme.
  2. Added new Set Types for the expanded Allocation sets.
  3. Added new Set Types for Sector, Bay, Path, Category and Department.
  4. Rearranged sets into groups for Location, Activity, Labour.
  5. Cleaned up the Checklists interface.
  6. Cleaned up the Activity Performance Interface.
  7. Standardized menus for all tabs.
  8. Added Help & Feedback button, related documentation.
  9. Added Annotations to the Sets (but not to the Elements).
  10. Reviewed and expanded the fields available for each Set Type.
  11. Added better interface for Greenhouse, Variety and Path Sets for selecting Year or Week.
  12. Standardized all views to have the same structure and appearance.
  13. Added Selection icon to views.
  14. Added Select All and Select None functions to the Set Elements.
  15. Updated New, Copy, Rename and Delete functions for the Sets.
  16. Configured client localization for all visible controls.
  17. Updated Toggle function to work when multiple rows are selected.
  18. Updated Set Sort Order function to allow for a range when multiple rows are selected.
  19. Updated Feature Codes to reflect new Sets.
  20. Added a few Menu shortcut key bindings.

Security Manager

  1. Made the new interface the default when opening the Security Manager.
  2. Moved the Modifier History tab to the new interface.
  3. Added Masquerading capability (internal use only!).
  4. Added Annotations to main User Account view.
  5. Added multi-select and toggle functions to some of the Access Types.
  6. Added TimeClock as an Access Type.
  7. New Notifications Tab showing all notifications configured for an account.
  8. Added new Highglight mechanism and related documentation.
  9. Work on Reports tab so that it works as expected for all modules.

Configuration Manager

  1. Fixed alignment of elements on main utility panel.
  2. Setup per-parameter saved views.
  3. Added menu items for saving view vs. parameter.
  4. Added Help & Feedback button and supporting documents in Canvas.
  5. More error checking for logo and scheduling images that are not formatted properly.

Notifications Manager

  1. Updates to the Scheduled Events interface, rearranging buttons, etc.
  2. Fixed up some issues related to Annotations not being linked properly.
  3. Added Reply To as an option for Events, so replies go to someone useful rather than to the server.
  4. Added new Schedule Type (Send CSV) that allows for creating a CSV from a query and sending it in one step.
  5. Added mechanism to launch Events asynchronously on-demand (Repairs, Allocation Data, etc.).
  6. Made Scheduled Events the first tab.
  7. Replaced memo fields with new version that shows text highlighting.
  8. Increased how many email addresses can be added to a single event to 2500 chars from 250 chars.
  9. Rearranged Scheduled Event Overview controls, added highlighting.
  10. Added Progress tab, and <debug> function now includes progress log in email.
  11. Added search function to main Scheduled Events view.
  12. Overhaul of the new SendCSV schedule type.  Better logging, more robust, etc.
  13. Added ability to have multiple saved views for Scheduled Events view.
  14. Added NOTES and Feature Code fields to Scheduled Tasks.
  15. Feature Codes can now be used as an alternative or in addition to email addresses.
  16. Force e-mail addresses to be lower case.
  17. Added Macro button to show syntax and options for templates.

Query Tool

  1. - Overhaul of interface generally.
  2. Added ability to supply parameters to Queries (capped currently at 20).
  3. Replaced all text editors with context-aware editors.
  4. Split Queries into Custom, Sample and System tabs.
  5. Added three separate \"SQL ScratchPad\" tabs.
  6. Added Query Builder note about ODBC requirement if not available.
  7. Updated script export function to prompt for destination folder.
  8. Cleaned up formatting of generated scripts, split into more files, added more scripts, more info inside script.
  9. Updated Context Menus.
  10. Overhauled DB Schema Report, made it a non-modal report.
  11. Added report to a list mechanism ala Worker Manager or Labour Manager.
  12. Added DB Schema Report to general Security Manager/Reports access mechanism.
  13. A round of Documentation for all involved.
  14. Added Validation utility function.
  15. Report and views updated to indicate tables/columns that did not pass validation.
  16. Added ability to set defaults for parameters, new view to edit defaults.
  17. Added query 'EXPLAIN' functionality.

Annotation Tool

  1. - Annotations launch more quietly now - not so busy with the main menu.
  2. Added Mark function to add current TimeStamp/User to document.

Support Ticket Tool

  1. Support Tickets launch more quietly now - not so busy with the main menu.
  2. Minor cosmetic changes to interface.
  3. Added History tab.
  4. Added Notifications (Feature Codes).
  5. Added Mark function to add current TimeStamp/User to document.

Debug/SQL Tool

  1. Updated User Interface to fit the current grey scheme.
  2. New editor control that supports SQL syntax highlighting.
  3. Added support for CTRL+A, CTRL+C, related buttons, etc.
  4. Added Help & Feedback button, related documentation.
  5. Added link to Query Manager.
  6. Added print function.
  7. Added button for Close All Tabs.
  8. Changed how events are logged to be more presentable, more complete.
  9. Added Module opening information to debug log.

Module Manager

  1. Added hints just like the Main Menu.
  2. Added Module Description field.
  3. Added context menus.
  4. Added Help & Feedback button and supporting documents in Canvas.
  5. Added Feature Code 00 for change notifications.

Database

  1. Changed GLM2.EMPLOYEEPAY_V_CURRENT view to include future-dated pay record if that is the only record available.
  2. Changed GLM2.EMPLOYEEPAY_V_CURRENT to return exactly one record for each employee record (different than before).

Canvas

  1. Added scripts to summarize pages, users, other data within the Canvas database.
  2. Added Canvas backup script.
  3. Documentation for DATAMARK.ACCESS table.
  4. Documentation for GLM2.ACTIVITY table.
  5. Documentation for GLM2.ACTIVITYLOCATION table.
  6. Documentation for GLM2.ACTIVITYSET table.
  7. Remote PTI Server Install document for Village Farms.

BuildDB

  1. Added many missing tables to main Build script.
  2. Many updates to logging facility for main Build script.
  3. Added links to Canvas docs to underlying table scripts.
  4. Improvements to Table checklist, started reviewing all tables.
