Labour Manager

KIND OF A BIG RELEASE.  Been working on this non-stop since the last release and it has been weeks it seems.  So lots of things here to dig into.

Main Menu

1. A few different attempts at addressing forms not appearing anywhere visible to the user.  While this was initially a multi-monitor issue, some of the so-called fixes to this started having issues on non-multi-monitor setups (like mine!).  Boo.  Hiss.  Anyway, a few iterations and I think it is working ok.  Will find out in short order as others start to use it.  Not sure what triggered my windows being off-screen though.  Really strange.
2. Adjustments to more or less synchronize all the different databases to use the same menu arrangement for the most part, including and specifically hiding the modules that are not part of the desktop app.  Bit of standardization on module #'s > 1000 for example.
3. Shift-click when opening a module will center it on the main desktop display.  Kind of a backup if all else fails.  Cuz it is really annoying when it does.  A bit tricky though as if the module is already open it needs to be closed first.  Non-obvious I'd have to say.

Login

1. Updated mechanisms for using AUTOADM accounts on EMH500 and YVR500 databases.  Bit of review of how these things are launched, what appears on the login screen, etc.
2. Updated some DB/Title references.

IPM Manager

1. Fixed incorrectly assigned grid links.
2. Finished period menu.  Enabled Help.

Labour Manager

1. Fixed incorrectly assigned grid links.
2. Fixed/Finished Labour Manager \"Change\" menu for altering user-edited raw punches.  Bit of documentation.
3. Labour Manager.  Updated references to MODIFIER and DATAMARK_USERNAME for > 8 characters.

Activity Manager

1. Enabled Help.
2. Updated references to MODIFIER and DATAMARK_USERNAME for > 8 characters.
3. Premiums functions finished.  Documentation to support Premiums function also finished.

Support Ticket Tool

1. Changed View button to show what is currently being viewed.

Team Manager

1. Updated references to MODIFIER and DATAMARK_USERNAME for > 8 characters.

Shift Manager

Worker Manager

1. Updated references to MODIFIER and DATAMARK_USERNAME for > 8 characters.
2. Batch Registration spreadsheet completed.  YAY.  Been a LONG TIME coming.  Only a couple of lines of text here, but many thousands and thousands of lines of code and dozens of hours of just testing it.  Argh.
3. Quick Registration now adds a Worker Note when the worker is initially registered, and an additional note when material is added via the Batch Registration process.
4. Bits of documentation.

General

1. Error Notifications.  Reformated how the error messages are displayed.  Maybe a bit nicer.  Not sure.  More work on how messages are sent, whether they are sent at all, etc.  Not sure if it will make much of a difference, but need to try to improve the experience for people who get errors all the time.  Hopefully less with the 8 character MODIFIER thing fixed.
2. Icons.  Added icons to a whole bunch of places to make it look prettier.  Will see if anyone says anything.
3. Help.  Made general functions for the Help & Feedback menus that are going to start popping up all over the place.  New Canvas icon added, other icons, etc.

Probably LOTS MORE that I've forgotten to write down.  But this is a pretty heavy update.

Labour Manager

1. Replaced internal references to GLM2.LUTS with DATAMARK.LUTS.  Ongoing problem. 
2. Added ability to see the queries that are run when inserting new worker records by holding down the shift key when clicking on the menu option - for those with access to the log viewer that is.
3. Added a bunch of Access History events.

Team Manager

1. Added a bunch of Access History events.

Notifications Manager

1. Added a new type - File Include - for essentially just including a text file in an email.  No clue why this hasn't been there all this time.  The File Import, File Parse and File Send options all do very complex things with the files that are read in, but none of them just include a text file in the body of the message, which is all I was trying to do with this backup notification - the file exists locally, just need to pick it up and embed it nicely in the email.  Sheesh. 

Labour Manager

1. Updated \"add selected worker\" to highlight worker after adding, updated icons.
2. Added \"default punch\" button to work like \"punch in\" but used to differentiate the two kinds of punches.  Sometimes punch-in is explicitly required, like when someone leaves the site and returns on the same day. 
3. Fixed various context menus to point at the right things.  Like being able to print the worker history or show the SQL for the recent worker notes.
4. Worker notes updated to make read-only notes when the user is not the same as the user who created the note.
5. Shift override was being reset when people worked multi-block days.  Adjusted to not do that.
6. Adjusted order of refresh after deleting records from the Processed Punches view so that the view is left in a consistent state.  Previously, the view was refreshed before the repair, so if the repair changed any records, the view was inconsistent, generating the dreaded \"record updated or changed\" when in reality, while technically true, wasn't practically true.
7. Adjusted the \"delete edits\" function to always work, regardless of whether debug mode was enabled or not.
8. Added W# to the caption title for the \"Processing Details\" tab so you can immediately see which W# was last processed.

Annotation Tool

1. Restored the form title bar. 

Notifications Manager

1. Added \"Always Active\" as a type for scheduled tasks.  This was because the \"reset\" task itself, which resets other tasks, was getting marked as \"in use\" itself and thus not being able to reset other tasks.  Doh!

Worker Manager

1. Worker Manager.  Updated the \"Register W#\" button to return to \"Register W#\" and not \"Register Worker\" after use.  Was causing text to wrap unexpectedly.  Also left-justified all the buttons on the Quick Registration utility panel.

General

1. Release Script.  Adjusted to include the list of authorized and unauthorized database names as part of the release when updating Datamark (Oasis Desktop).

Labour Manager

1. Added tab for recent worker notes.

Security Manager

1. Populated Module tab.

Module Manager

1. Rearranged it a bit, so the menu is on the left.  Updated Refresh button to remove invalid table entries.  Removed user restriction on the menu so that everything is visible.  Added more MODLOG entries.

Login

1. Added Cultivate to set of login logos.

Annotation Tool

1. First Cultivate module created - Annotations.  Spent a lot of time polishing this module, so it is already pretty much complete.

Probably several things I've forgotten as it has been awhile since the last official update.

Greenhouse Viewer

1. Updated the Checklist report to work with multiple checklists.  Added Forklift name to the report if that type of checklist is used. 
2. Minor tweaks to the interface at the top-left.  Contemplating bigger things here.

Labour Manager

1. Some changes to the Single/Multi-punch code to catch an error that was generated today.  Pretty obscure though.

Repair Tool

1. Another attempt at catching obscure errors.  I think someone doesn't have their regional settings set properly.  Can't explain why this error would occur otherwise.  Going to be a long haul to remove that restriction, but getting there slowly I suppose.

Sets Manager

1. Minor tweak to remove the setting for the Accel character so you can enter & in a question and have it work and look properly everywhere, rather than underlining the following character.

Worker Manager

1. Fixed error encountered when trying to set the Checklists for a worker - was still linked to the Roles code that was used as a template for this code. 
2. Added Checklists as a field in the main view - already populated everywhere, just never got added to the view.
3. Adjusted tab order for the bottom section of the Attributes tab.

Labour Manager

1. Added code to check that the times being entered for Single/MultiPunch start/end times was actually a HH:mm:ss time as this seems to generate exceptions daily.  Hopefully they will be reduced as a result of this.

Labour Manager

1. Added Problems field to the Workers Present view, as a companion to the \"problems\" list at the top of the view, to make it easier to filter the view to show only the problems on each day.
2. Fixed some strange errors with processing.  Not sure why but for some reason some workers were not processing.  Seemed to be an internal error with queries not aligned with their fields, yet this is the first reported instance.  And this version has been in the wild for quite a number of weeks now.

Labour Manager

1. Fixed problem with adding workers not present in the Labour Manager.  Their punch-ins were missing when doing this.

Activity Manager

1. Major overhaul of the Activity Manager interface.  The \"gray\" theme applied, basically.  No more green!  Numerous cosmetic changes to the layout.  Nothing particularly structural though.

Shift Manager

1. Update to allow shift premiums via having a start and end time applied to each premium record.

Repair Tool

1. Corresponding update to the Repair Tool to accommodate time-based premiums.
